Istine, from 1979 to 1989
Living in Buxtehude, it had never occurred to me to paint a landscape. At Istine, landscape painting was a step into the unknown.

Istine is the place that Ursula and Herbert have restored and looked after for forty years.
Un podere nel cuore del Chianti Storico, conservato con abilità e dedizione. Una rarità di bellezza e di armonia con l'ambiente circostante, che trova origine nell'epoca etrusca. É il posto che ha incorniciato la vita e la relazione di questi due pionieri della cultura olistico-spirituale integrata all'arte e alla Natura.
Oggi il podere è di proprietà dell'az. agricola Istine (www.istine.it).
La maggior parte delle opere sono esposte ancora lì, nel luogo in cui sono nate.
